About me

Originally from Barcelona, I moved to Hong Kong in 2008, where I met Jeff, the love of my life. We were classmates for two years before we finally started going out together in 2010. On October 14th, 2012, he proposed and we tied the knot on October 6th, 2013, one of the happiest days of my life! On December 18th of that same year, J and I found out we were expecting our first baby, a baby boy! Liam was born on August 28th and I couldn't be more in love :)

The hubby and I moved to Barcelona on February 25th, 2014, to join my family's business. We're now living our dream of working together and getting to be with one another almost 24/7. Little Liam came with us to the office until he was 1 year old, which I feel so grateful for!

On June 6th, 2016, we found out our second baby was on the way! Noam was born on February 5th, 2017 :)

I earned  a Bachelor in Political Science and International Relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2008, and a Bachelor in Business Administration with Honors in Finance from City University of Hong Kong in 2011. Gifted in language learning, I currently speak seven languages {Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese}.

While my job is important to me, I do enjoy my leisure time. I have a sweet tooth and love to indulge in afternoon tea. Most of the food reviews you'll find in my blog are on sweet treats!

You can get a hold of me at xeniaoliviablog{at}gmail.com !

I read that you speak several languages, that's very skilled.
Do you have any tips on language learning?

    1. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed reading my blog. Yes, I do have some tips! I find it very useful to listen to songs while reading the lyrics, and watching movies with subtitles. I'd also recommend moving to the place of the language you want to learn or go for at least a month for an intensive course. Good luck :)

My fiancee and I live in Hong Kong but we will get married in his home country of Sweden in August 2014. I am American. But after living in Hong Kong for six years I really want to combine American, Asian and Sweden culture into one wonderful wedding. Thank you again for such lovely insight. :))
